Senior Celebrations started in 2006.
Our very first giving was to the wonderful seniors at a skilled nursing facility in Fairfield, Ohio - Tri-County Extended Care.
Each month, a word of comfort and encouragement is given through a simple but powerful inspirational message. Then each senior in attendance will receive a nice gift for their attendance. "Miracle Mike," as the residents call him, states "Anybody that can put up with me for half hour really does deserve a gift!" His wit and humor has provided many laughs and connects well with the audience. Michael is alway proud of the group of volunteers that will come and help pass out the gifts. "Just to let them know that someone, who is not even related to them, really does care and concerned for their well being does make a difference in their life" as noted by Mike.
