Adult Independence

HISTORY & VALUE

Adult Independence started in 2008.

Part of this ministry is designed to help those adults with multiple disabilities and medical fragility.  Through the interaction with these adults comes through sometimes just a simple giving of donated gifts which helps improve their quality of life and self-esteem along with increasing their social interaction with others.

We honored to partner with Redwood Rehabilitation facility in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky as one of the premier centers in this area.

NOTE WORTHY EVENTS FOR 2010:

In the fall of 2010 the 19th annual Fall Formal event was held and over 125 adults attended this gala event.  As the adults left the event that nite, this ministry was honored to hand out gifts to each one. Many smiles and thanks were given that were expressed for receiving such a wonderful gift.
